Duty to Warn

Loretta is a young woman who has attempted suicide once and has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder struggling to balance her emotions. Her dysfunctional family all try to help her while she spirals out of control. This tragedy has comic moments of poignancy as Loretta and her sister deal with pampered pets and their mother reels off another drunk.

Unbroken Circle

Ada Mae wrestles with breaking the cycle of abuse that she suffered as a child. At a mini-reunion with her sister and brother, they all spin colorful yarns of their life in the Kentucky coalminer hollow while the grandchildren listen. Ada Mae confronts her sister and brother with the incest they all suffered only to have them deny it and turn on her.
